An entrance hall that sets the tone

The entrance hall is the first room you see, and often the last one you think about in a renovation. Yet a few choices here make a big difference.
1. Storage that goes unnoticed
A cloakroom cabinet up to the ceiling keeps coats, shoes and bags out of sight. In HPL it is strong and easy to maintain.
2. The staircase as an object
A staircase can be more than a connection. A Z-staircase in mortex becomes a sculpture in the room.

3. Light and height
A floor-to-ceiling glass pivot door lets daylight in and makes the hall feel larger. See the result in Project KT.
