About this project
The brief
The entrance hall had to make an immediate impression and be practical at the same time: room for coats and shoes, and a staircase that is more than a connection between two floors.
The design
A stately cloakroom cabinet up to the ceiling keeps everything out of sight. The Z-staircase in mortex stands in the room like a sculpture. A floor-to-ceiling glass pivot door lets daylight in and makes the hall feel larger and lighter.
