About this project
The brief
The living room has an impressively high ceiling. The wish was for a room that feels calm and light, without the height making it feel empty or cold.
The design
We kept the colour palette sober and light, so daylight has free rein. A made-to-measure wooden cabinet with open niches gives the wall warmth and structure, and hides the television and technology. Long, light curtains emphasise the height and filter the light.
Materials and details
- A light wooden floor that ties the space together.
- Made-to-measure woodwork with open niches for decoration and closed cupboards for storage.
- Clean lines and a few well-chosen pieces of furniture.
The result is a living room that radiates space and lightness, where you immediately feel at home.
