The brief
A bathroom with character that still stays calm and easy to maintain. There could be one eye-catcher; everything around it had to stay understated.
The design
The washbasin in Marazzi ceramic with a marble look is the starting point. Around it we chose seamless mortex walls and an epoxy floor, so there are hardly any joints and the room reads as one whole. The shower continues in the same material.
Materials and details
- Mortex on the walls, protected with a varnish in wet areas.
- An epoxy floor: seamless, waterproof and pleasant underfoot.
- A ceramic washbasin with a marble look as a strong accent.
Few materials, well chosen: that is how a bathroom stays calm and timeless.
